NFIA: NFIA helps facilitate foreign companies' direct investments in the Netherlands. NFIA helps companies understand the advantages of the Dutch business environment and how it can be a strategic base to cover the European market.

Our Role: Saffron's event management, public relations and business intelligence services, support NFIA in communicating its message to key audiences in the Indian market and build awareness about the Dutch business environment and the ease of doing business in the Netherlands. These services are provided with an aim to augment NFIA's efforts in reaching out to Indian companies interested in establishing, expanding or evaluating the European market for a business presence.

KPMG: KPMG is a global network of professional services firms of KPMG International. KPMG member firms provide audit, tax and advisory services and an understanding of various industries for the benefit of their clients and communities. KMPG is recognized among the Big 4 accounting and advisory firms globally.

Our Role: Saffron delivered on a market intelligence project for KPMG that included the identification and facilitation of bridge building meetings with key players in the Indian banking industry with an interest in a European expansion.

City of Amsterdam The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is being promoted by the Netherlands as an ideal business location, offering a competitive cost and quality competitiveness and an outstanding network of professional services designed to assist international businesses.

Our Role: In an effort to increase the interest with India's leading IT corporates in Hyderabad and Bangalore, Saffron helped conceptualize and manage executive briefings titled - 'Amsterdam - IT Hub for Europe'. The executive briefing helped showcase the strengths and advantages that Amsterdam, within the Netherlands, offers as a strategic business destination for Indian technology companies who want to establish or expand their operations in Europe. The executive briefing included a keynote address by NASSCOM and a presentation by Mr. Lodewijk Asscher, Vice Mayor, City of Amsterdam on 'Think IT, Think Amsterdam'.

The strengths of the Netherlands as a bridge-head to Europe were exemplified through first hand experiences of leading Indian and global multinationals - TCS, Satyam, Wipro and Cisco Systems.

Wagner Group: Wagner Group had planned a visit to India in order to gain an in depth understanding of development in Business & Education in India and also the development of the human capital pool within India by meeting with key organizations and institutions within the IT, Medical and Education sectors in the country.

Our Role: Saffron provided end to end mission management services that enabled a successful 3 day fact finding trip to New Delhi for the Wagner Group spread. Right from taking care of all travel related logistics to market research and appropriate advice on meetings, Saffron played a crucial role. Saffron identified the appropriate companies and decisions makers in the relevant sectors and initiated all the meetings. Saffron organized meeting with key officials from organizations such as NASSCOM, CII, Apollo Hospitals, Cybermedia Group and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute among others.

Saffron also facilitated a closer look at the Indian culture for the group during the visit.

University of Tilburg
Saffron is experienced in designing customized tours to meet specific needs of Dutch trade and education delegations visiting India, which may involve a combination of key events and one-on-one meetings.
